This year’s Russian International Arbitration Congress (RIAC), a major professional event in international arbitration, will be held in Moscow on 21–27 September 2026.

On 21 September at 2:00 pm a discussion will be held on “Enforcing Russia-related Judgments and Arbitral Awards Abroad”. Experts from China, Malaysia, South Africa, and Singapore will share their experience, discuss the latest developments, and provide insights into the approaches currently taken by foreign courts when considering the recognition and enforcement of Russian judgments and arbitral awards. The session will be moderated by Paul-Raphael Shehadeh, Counsel at Asari Legal.

The Closing Ceremony of RIAC 2026 will take place on 24 September aboard the Radisson yacht. Guests will cruise the Moscow River enjoying sunset vistas, a specially selected entertainment programme, and a convivial atmosphere of the Congress community.
