Asari Legal Partner Speaks at an RSPP Arbitration Conference

On 28 May 2026, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) hosted the Opportunities of Arbitration for Lawyers conference, organised by the RSPP Arbitration Centre together with the Russian Federal Bar Association.

Dmitry Kaysin, Partner and Co-head of Asari Legal’s Dispute Resolution practice, and Vice-president of the Arbitration Association, took part in the conference.

The event gathered representatives of the RSPP Arbitration Centre and the Russian Federal Bar Association, members of the judiciary and academia, as well as leading legal practitioners. The participants discussed current developments in arbitration and the practical application of arbitration in the legal profession.

In his presentation, Dmitry Kaysin spoke about additional provisions that parties may include in arbitration clauses, with particular focus on the constitution of the arbitral tribunal, choice of applicable law, the language of the proceedings, expedited procedures, and practical aspects of drafting arbitration agreements for both domestic and international disputes.

The conference speakers highlighted that in the current environment arbitration was growing in importance as a neutral, professional and efficient dispute resolution mechanism. Participants noted that the key advantages of arbitration included procedural flexibility, technological efficiency, speed of proceedings, finality of awards, and the ability to appoint arbitrators with relevant industry expertise.
