Asari Legal Partner Participates in UNCITRAL Working Group III Session
Dmitry Kaysin, partner and co-head of Asari legal’s Dispute Resolution practice, participated as an invited expert in the 54th session of UNCITRAL Working Group III, held in Vienna on 23–27 March.
Working Group III focuses on the reform of investor-State dispute settlement mechanisms. The current session addressed, among other topics, the establishment of a permanent tribunal for international investment disputes and an appellate mechanism, as well as proposals concerning the potential exclusive jurisdiction of this tribunal for investor-State dispute resolution.
The session brought together delegates from over 70 States, including observer States, as well as representatives of international organisations.
