Asari Legal at Cbonds’ Corporate Lending in Russia – 2026 Forum

On 22 October 2026, Asari Legal acted as General Partner of the fifth Corporate Lending in Russia – 2026 forum, an annual conference organised by Cbonds for banks, major corporate borrowers, law firms, investment companies, development institutions, and financial advisers.
The plenary session entitled Corporate Lending 2026: A New Market Cycle or a New Financing Model? featured Asari Legal Partner Alexander Borgoyakov along with representatives of the Association of Banks of Russia, VEB.RF, Mainsgroup, the Centre for Parliamentary Technologies, and Sberbank. The discussion centred on the role of banks in financing major infrastructure and investment projects, mechanisms of state support (including guarantees and interest rate subsidies), as well as the transformation of the corporate lending market and approaches to trade finance in the face of changing funding costs and adverse market conditions.
Particular attention was given to a new phase in the development of syndicated lending: now that they have adapted to the changed conditions, banks and borrowers are finding their way back to large joint transactions, refining the structuring of financing and risk allocation, developing the secondary loan market, and going more and more digital.
Asari Legal Associate Dmitry Lisov took part in the Structuring Corporate Finance: Balancing Risk, Capital, and the Interests of the Parties session that focused on the transformation of approaches to raising finance, new opportunities and constraints for borrowers, the balance of interests between the parties, refinancing and debt restructuring, as well as the legal and regulatory aspects of structuring finance in Russia.
Asari Legal would like to thank Cbonds for the opportunity to act as General Partner of the forum that has become an effective platform for professional networking and exchanging expertise.
