Asari Legal Official Partner of the Antitrust Forum 2026
The Antitrust Forum 2026, one of the key industry events, jointly organised by the Association of Antimonopoly Experts (AAE) and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS), was held in Moscow on May 26. More than 400 leading representatives of business, government agencies, the legal community, and experts came together to attend the forum.
Asari Legal was an official partner of the forum and an active participant in its business programme. Nato Tskhakaya, Partner and Head of Asari Legal’s Regulatory practice, moderated the first session of the “M&A in Digital Markets” forum, which focused on current trends in Tech & Digital M&A in Russia, the transformation of the transaction market, as well as the regulatory, financial, and structural aspects of M&A in the IT and digital sectors. Igor Ostapets, Partner and Head of the Corporate practice, explained in detail how the structure of M&A transactions in the digital market has changed over the past few years, which segments of digital M&A are currently the most active and strategically important, and which are expected to be in future.
Olesya Milchakova (FAS), Olga Golubkova (Ozon), Andrey Osnos (Sovcombank), Evgeny Yuryev (Nikolskaya Consulting) and Alexander Topoev (Wildberries) also participated in the discussion. During the session they discussed current trends in M&A and the digital markets, FAS’s approach to assessing digital assets and platforms, the impact of antitrust controls on investment decisions, as well as new risks and challenges stemming from market transformations and the government’s increasing focus on digital infrastructure.
