This year, 153 teams from universities around the world took part in the competition.<br><br><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The team from MGIMO\u2019s Faculty of International Law \u2014 Roman Balakin, Aryuna Batozhargalova, Arina Buryak, Elizaveta Zakharova, and Konstantin Frogerz \u2014 prevailed against leading university teams from India, China, Argentina, Italy, and Poland. Elizaveta Zakharova was named Best Speaker of the final round. This is the best result ever achieved by a Russian team in the history of FDI Moot.<br><br>The MGIMO team\u2019s participation in the Global Rounds was made possible in part thanks to the support of Asari Legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team was coached by Asari Legal associates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asari.legal\/en\/team\/aleksandra-alimova\/\">Alexandra Alimova<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asari.legal\/en\/team\/tatyana-petrova\/\">Tatiana Petrova<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asari.legal\/en\/team\/irina-kizko\/\">Irina Kizko<\/a>, as well as junior associate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asari.legal\/en\/team\/sofya-mirhajdarova\/\">Sofia Mirkhaidarova<\/a>.<br><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asari.legal\/en\/team\/ilya-rybalkin\/\">Ilya Rybalkin<\/a><\/strong>, Partner, Co-Head of Dispute Resolution Practice commented:<br><br>\u201cI am proud to see my alma mater\u2019s team succeed, and grateful to my colleagues for their leadership, commitment and mentorship.
